INSURANCE INFORMATION

Your insurance information will be kept on file. Insurance will be filed for services covered under your contract.  Payment for services not covered will be received at the time service is provided.  You will receive an itemized statement that will assist you with regard to your out-of-network insurance benefits, HSA or HRA accounts.

PAYMENT POLICY

Our medical care environment has rapidly changed in the last few years and we will be seeing more changes in the very near future with the new programming for medical billing and electronic medical records.  Unfortunately, these expensive changes have not improved the quality of care or made it more available to the American public.

Patient care in this clinic does not fall under the usual and customary services covered by the National Health Care Financing Administration.  Therefore, many services in Turning Point Pathway are not covered under many insurance plans, where physicians are asked to contract with insurance companies to provide predetermined discounted services, generic medications and one size fits all medicine.

We are a family-owned, family-run medical business since 1999.  Your health care is our business and we take it very seriously.  As a “free agent” clinic, our medical opinions are not limited by insurance guidelines nor are they sponsored by pharmaceutical supported research.  Having said that, our providers are all boarded, licensed, certified and deliver excellent healthcare.  They also participate in and publish science-based research and bring to you cutting edge programs, products and services.

Like most honest, well-run operations, payment in full is expected at the time the non-insurance covered service is rendered or the program or product is purchased.  A detailed receipt for all charges and services will be provided upon payment.  This receipt has all the necessary information you would need to provide to your insurance company for out of network benefits, for your bank to support use of your Health Saving Account or to your employer for any Health Reimbursements Arrangement Accounts.
